Alessandro Paolini

Alessandro Paolini received his diploma in double bass in 2003 from the Niccolò Paganini Conservatory in Genoa, where he was a student of Maestro Franco Pianigiani. He continued his studies taking post-graduate specialization courses at the Accademia Walter Stauffer in Cremona with Franco Petracchi.
Over the past years he has collaborated with orchestras in norther Italy, such as the Teatro Carlo Felice (Genoa), the Orchestra Sinfonica Nazionale della RAI (Turin), Milano Classica, the Orchestra Sinfonica di Asti the Orchestra Giovanile del Piemonte, the Orchestra Sinfonica di San Remo, Orchestra Sinfonica di Savona, Orchestra Classica di Alessandria, filarmonica di Chiavari, among others.
In 2005 he passed an audition for the Luigi Cherubini youth orchestra directed by Maestro Riccardo Muti, beginning a learning and professional experience that lasted five years (2005-2010), during which he had the chance to play some in some of the most important theatres with some of the greatest international soloists and directors.
Since 2015 he is first bass at the Festival di Sanremo
